What Happened in June

They complement each other
They are the opposite of each other
So does black for white
And vice versa

I've been gone for so long, haven't I?
June was such a hectic month. The story goes like this...

One day, I felt like I'll have a fever so I decided to go home from college. My parents and my sister were out of town, leaving me and my little sister alone at home. I caught a high fever, probably 40 degrees (I was too dizzy to realise and I don't have a thermometer), and for 4 straight days, I slept almost 18 hours per day. I felt a lot better after that and started to go out, but my mom persistently told me to go to the hospital to do a blood test. I went and it turned out that my S.G.O.T and S.G.P.T (I don't know what are they stand for, however I know they are related to liver) were high, like, 4 to 6 times than normal. The doctor said I was probably exposed to Hepatitis. So, I ended up hospitalized for the first time in my life.

My parents, as well as my older sisters and brothers are working so they couldn't accompany me. My little sister is still in high school so basically, I ended up alone. I have never liked hospital and I have never imagined I would be hospitalized either. Everything seemed scary for me. They did blood test twice a day to check on my condition (I was scared at first but then I can feel myself totally fine with it.. I'm adapting). Even the infusion was making my left hand swollen (it was as big as a brick). Those are 3 pitiful days for me.

Fortunately, the lab result showed that the probability of me exposed to Hepatitis C or B are negative and I haven't reach Hepatitis A so I can go home. The doctor told me not to be too tired, eat healthy (he forbid me from eating too much beef, oily food, fatty food, junk food, and fast food), and exercise. It was really hard for me. I ate so little and I quickly felt nauseous. I went back to attend class to keep my attendance score but after three days, I fell ill again. I caught a fever, 40 degrees to be exact, until my face turned red. I went back to the hospital and the doctor said I was too tired and I suffered from typhoid symptoms. He gave me some medicines and I bed rested for 3 days.

I have final presentation the week after that worth like 30% of my final score and a musical to do so I needed to recover fast. I successfully went through my final presentation week, the musical, and now I have my final exam week. That is why I don't have time to blog. But gladly, I can do it today so I do it!

By the way, the doctor told me something blocked my mind and it makes me stress so the important thing is to let go and be happy. That is why I blog. Editing photos and writing a post cheer me up. Sorry for blabbering... you know I love to. :p

Hope you guys like my post!

P.S: Happy fasting month! I am truly excited to welcome this holy month. I can buy some new things too hehe. Anyway, I don't have to worry about spending my money because Zalora, the largest online shop in Indonesia, offers wide variety of choices with affordable price. You, especially young women, can get Ramadhan essentials like mukena from Zalora for yourself or your loved ones. Happy shopping!

Firda
